Electrical Controls Training System Bugging Kit
This kit is designed to be used with the LearnLab 1503 Motor Controls Training system.
LearnLab's bugging kit includes defective components for use in placing failures in circuits to allow students to troubleshoot.
*The NEMA Motor Starter Coil is modified to never close the contactor. When power is applied to the coil, generally the starter will not operate, some current may pass, designed to simulate a bad or burnt coil.
*One Ice Cube Relay is modified with bad contacts. Both poles are defective and will not function in the circuit. Designed to simulate a defective relay in the circuit.
*The second Ice Cube Relay is modified with Open Coil. The actuator coil is bad and will not function in the circuit. Designed to simulate a defective relay in the circuit.
*The Green Normally Open Contact Block that is normally open is modified to never close. When the pushbutton is pressed, the switch will not close or function properly in the circuit. Designed to simulate a defective switch.
*The Red Normally Closed Contact Block that is normally closed is modified to never open. When the pushbutton is pressed, the switch will not open or function properly in the circuit. Designed to simulate a defective switch.
